Modern Transport of Palladium and other PGE’s in Hot Fluids and Gases is Occurring in the Kuril Islands.

Palladium deposit formation is often inferred from ancient rocks and lab results, but in a study by Marina Yudovskaya and others, actual content in hydrothermal fluids and gases was measured. It is encouraging to see contemporary transport being demonstrated; to bring to “life” the references to hypothetical emplacement that often guide our prospecting.
